Genesis was just going through the motions. She was working all the time and perfecting her craft. A lot of the time, she would do her clients make up for free. That was her way of getting her name out there and getting better. Every day she was home by eight at night.

Her life was becoming a regular routine. And she wasn’t feeling it at all. Cash was still hanging around. She knew that they were back on track. She was happy that her friend was happy.

Jaylon stayed on her mind all the time. His ass hadn’t even reached out to her. And that hurt her feelings more than anything. He didn’t care to see if she was okay. Even though she would’ve probably hung up anyway.

With Jaylon not reaching out to her. Had her deep in her feelings. It was like he never cared anything about her. And there she was trying to change for the better, trying to be a good woman for his ass.

Genesis saw where that got her. Kicked to the damn curb and thrown away like some trash. He told her about the shit Coco did. Genesis knew in her heart that he still wanted her. His baby mama had a hold on his stupid ass.

Here it was a Friday night, and she was in the house. Bored out her mind, and nothing was on TV. Genesis pulled out all her makeup. She was going to beat her face. She was sad and in her feelings.

Maybe doing her face would help her feel better. At least that’s what she hoped. Her phone started ringing, and she jumped to get up. She almost dropped her expensive makeup. She was rushing to get to her phone. Genesis was hoping it was Jaylon calling.

Jaylon was lying in bed, looking up at the ceiling. All could be heard was Coco’s snoring. The shit was irking his fucking soul. He didn’t remember Genesis's light snoring working his nerves. He sat up, swinging his feet off the bed.

Thoughts of Ceaser telling them like it is hit him like a ton of bricks. He didn’t realize that he was in love with her. Jaylon grabbed his phone off the nightstand. He left the room, being careful not to wake Coco up. He opened the door to his son’s bedroom.

Jase was asleep in his toddler bed. Jaylon went in and covered him back up. His ass never could stay under the blanket. He was a wild sleeper like his mother. Then he left the room and headed to the living room.

First, he got on Facebook, trying to see if she was active. A smile graced his face when he saw that she was. He then went through his contacts and found her name. Jaylon sent her a text, just saying hello. He didn’t know if she would respond back to him.

He waited a few minutes and nothing. It’s kind of pissed him off, but he knew that she was upset. He sent her another one, but this time he said that he was sorry.
